2024 summer, the COCO CRUSH Fine Jewelry Rendezvous brought its story to Beijing, presenting the inspiration, design philosophy, stacking artistry, and playful elegance of the COCO CRUSH collection in a uniquely immersive way. The exhibition was hosted at No. 75 Jianguo Road, Digital Art Park, Chaoyang District, a site rich in historical significance, formerly an industrial space. As the architectural space designer, I was responsible for transforming this historic location into a harmonious fusion of heritage and modern luxury, embodying the timeless essence of CHANEL.
Design Concept & Impact
Industrial Heritage Meets Luxury: The exhibition space embraced the raw, structural beauty of the former industrial site while infusing it with sophisticated modernity, reflecting CHANEL’s mastery in blending contrasts—soft yet bold, fluid yet structured;
Symbolism in Space: The intersecting quilted lines within the design subtly paid homage to COCO CRUSH’s signature pattern, reinforcing the brand’s timeless storytelling;
Aesthetic & Functional Harmony: Every detail, from spatial flow to material selection, was meticulously crafted to enhance the visitors’ emotional connection with the jewelry pieces on display;
